Celeb hairstylist Jaweb Habib joins BJP

Eminent hairstylist Jawed Habib, who owns a chain of salons in India, has formally joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. He has not only been a reputed entrepreneur but has also commanded adulation in the field of hair-dressing.

So far, I have been a 'chowkidar' (watchman) of the hair, but from now onwards I am the 'chowkidar' of India, he said upon joining the saffron party, whose slogan for the 2019 elections is 'Mai Bhi Chowkidar'.

Habib owns as many as 550 hair salons in India, and three more in foreign countries.
