Actress Nayanthara and filmmaker Vignesh Shivan, who had been in a relationship for quite some time now, is entering wedlock today, June 9. The couple, who met on the set of the super hit movie ‘Naanum Rowdy Dhaan’ has been in a relationship for the past 6 years. The wedding is a private affair held at a five-star hotel in Mahabalipuram with only family members and close friends in attendance. While the fans are waiting for the first pictures of the newlyweds, several pictures of celebs attending the dreamy ceremony have surfaced online. Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, who shared screen space with Nayanthara in upcoming movie ‘Jawan’ directed by Atlee arrived at the venue and a few pictures of the same are doing the rounds on social media. Actors Karthi, Rajinikanth, Malayalam star Dileep and several others too are snapped at the venue. Reportedly, actors Kamal Haasan, Chiranjeevi, Suriya, Ajith, Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha Ruth Prabhu are also invited to the close-knitted wedding ceremony.

Hours before the most awaited celebrity wedding, the director took to his Instagram page and penned an emotional note on the big day in his life. "Today is June 9th and it’s Nayan’s, thanking God , the universe, the Good will from all the lovely human beings who have crossed My life !! It is learnt that the couple will throw a grand reception in Chennai on June 11.
