Title – Chakravyuha, Producer – NK Lohithdas, Direction – M Saravana, Music – SS Thaman, Cinematography – Shanmugasundaram, Cast – Puneeth Rajakumar, Rachita Ram, Arjun Vijay, Sithara, Abhimanyu Singh, Rangayana Raghu, Sadhu Kokila, Bhavya, Swapna and others.

It is a power packed film with a discerning subject ‘who comes for a public problem’. A public is regarded very shabbily in the republic of India. When different walks of field unite for issues, it is only for a public, another public or masses not rise up. This is a good concept, well packed in action entertainer.

A tooth for a tooth, a nail for a nail theory adopted by Lohith as protagonist is appealing because the current day public needs quick results of problems meted out.

In his first film in Kannada M Saravana should have updated on the recent developments and the law college hue and cry is distressing. When the student of Law College is brought to hospital, the scene is not updated as the recent announcement of government of India that in accident and dire cases it is only treatment first and case later is not followed in this film. The appearance of song especially ‘Geleya Geleya…..it is all of a sudden.

The most appreciable factor is Puneeth Rajakumar allowing the villain to roar too much. Arun Vijay (son of Tamil actor Vijayakumar) has given a superb performance. He is a good rabble rouser for the coming days.

In a nut shell the film ‘Chakravyuha’ is about a young Lohith intelligent and harsh style of punishing the brother of Law Minister. Arun Vijay brother of law minister was responsible for ruckus in law college examination time. That has also resulted in three deaths in the campus. One of the severely affected in the incident is given ample care by Lohith a passerby. Later when the student dies and his mother screams in public, Lohith takes it seriously. A civil engineer by profession Lohith (Puneeth Rajakumar) goes on a hunt and kidnap Arun Vijay.

On the other side the pressure builds up on law minister as the media reports his brother is responsible for the ruckus. Law Minister agrees to give up his position and go to prison in case his brother does not turn up. This is what Lohith wanted to happen. He sets Arun Vijay free after Law Minister is arrested.
In the process of this severe hit back a beautiful Anjali falls in love with Lohith. This love angle is final instrument for Arun Vijay to take the revenge on Lohith. How the kidnapped Anjali is saved by Lohith is another stunning action portion of this film.

Power star Puneeth Rajakumar is immaculate to his role. His dance, anger, performance, action are on top. Arun Vijay gets the next attraction for a good screen space. Rachita Ram is lovely whenever she comes on screen. Abhimanyu Singh is wasted, Rangayana Raghu and Sadhu Kokila in serious and comedy role gives relief. Sithara veteran actress screaming at public place is terrific. Bhavya as mother of Lohith is quite OK.

Stunts, music and cinematography have come up well to lift the film to a good level. Are Are Enaithu….is melody, Geleya Geleya…..sung by Junior NTR is a peppy number that also showcase dancing talent of Puneeth Rajakumar.

A good watch for action lovers! A lesson also for public to unite and exercise their voice.
