Thala Ajith's 'Billa 2' released to much expectations amongst Thala fans and film patrons all over, but the film was a damp squib at the box office and critics had written it off will be an understatement.

Chakri said, "To all those who liked the film (Billa 2) thank you & to those who didn't... Sorry to disappoint you! Especially, Thala fans."

Starring Ajith, Sudanshu Pandey, Vidyut Jamwal, Bruna Abdullah and Parvathy Omanakuttan, the film is a sequel to blockbuster 'Billa' and has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The film was criticized for its script that lacks interest.
