He's been a producer for two stylish flicks - `Jagadam' and `Arya 2' and made his acting debut in Kannada. Aditya Babu is turning hero in Telugu with `Chalaki' that has music by Kannada music director Hari Krishna who has tried youthful elements in this album. 'Chalaki' is a super hit Malayalam movie, the producers would hope to see a similar result in Telugu.

Hora Hori    Listen here

Singer: Ranjith
Lyrics: Viswa

`Hora Hori' starts off with a verse that probably is the hero's introduction. The techno beats give the song a great uplift at the beginning. A completely youthful song with the lyrics of Viswa complementing the image of Aditya Babu. The song for a major part tries to sustain the interest of the listener with a set beat. Ranjith has sung the song well. Composer Hari Krishna, has used the techno beats, strings and electronic instrumentation to good effect in this song.

Edo Jarigindante   Listen here

Singers: Karthik and Swetha
Lyrics: Avinash

A delight to hear is Karthik's voice and this song is no less. Hari Krishna starts off the song in a slow note giving the hint that the song is a slow romantic melody. Karthik sings the voice mellifluously with percussions giving him ample support. Avinash lyrics are note worthy. The fillers seem to be heard somewhere but are a pleasure to listen. Swetha joins in with her sweet voice making this duet the pick of the album.

Neevu Leni   Listen here

Singers: Karthik and Swetha
Lyrics: Vanamali

Karthik's second song of the album. The song starts of with a flute rendition and later joined by harmony of various instruments. The percussions in the background have been well used by Hari Krishna. Karthik and Swetha sing another slow song in the album for the lyrics of noted lyricist Vanamali. A sad song that may be important in the screenplay, the answer awaits all of us when the movie hits the screens. Worth a listen for Karthik's voice.

Olammi   Listen here

Singers: Tippu and Megha
Lyrics: Avinash

Another youthful number, `Olammi' is a song that sounds like a singing interaction between the hero and a girl. The beats and instruments in the song are good enough to pass the muster but nothing else in the song makes it worthwhile to listen. Hari Krishna has tried to make the song a talkathon but unfortunately it isn't catchy. Lyricist Avinash has penned quite a youthful song that tries to convey if the guy or girl is better than the other.

Nayudori Pilla   Listen here

Singers: V.Harikrishna, Priya Hemesh
Lyrics: Sagar

`Nayudori Pilla.' sounds like the mass song of the album with its lyrics but its music is quite contrasting. The catchy beat in the beginning doesn't quite sustain the interest of the listener in some parts. Singers have done a good job with the music director V Hari Krishna himself singing for this song along with Priya Hemesh. The only highlight of the song is the English filler lyric and the chorus being used to good effect. The country beats used in between also grab your attention but they only come for a little while.

Fair to Middling by Hari Krishna

`Chalaki' album as a whole is youthful and entertaining. Only one song stands tall while two other are just about okay to listen.
