Even as 'Maharshi' is in the making, Gemini TV has bought its broadcast rights. The exact value of the deal is not yet known but the buzz is that the Mahesh Babu-starrer has fetched a record price.

The 'Bharat Ane Nenu' star will restart shooting for the Vamshi Paidipally-directed movie from this week in the US. The makers of 'Maharshi' have chosen the US (New York City, etc) to shoot some key scenes that unfold in the backdrop of Western landscapes.

Starring PoojaHegde as the heroine, 'Maharshi' also has Allari Naresh in a supporting role. It's learned that the next schedule of this Dil Raju-Ashwini Dutt-PVP production will be held in Hyderabad.

Mahesh will attend a special fundraising evening in solidarity with Heal-A-Child and The Gramam Foundation in New York City, on 27 October.
