Chaos at'Jogi' Vijayostava

The much expected 'Jogi Vijayotsava' at Bangalore Palace grounds on Sunday evening was held in chaotic situation. There was no proper arrangement, the fans thronged from all the places, there was traffic jam outside the palace grounds, ambulances with patients got struck, the police lathicharge inside the palace grounds, the crowds turn out of 90000 went berserk throwing stone, chappals and whatever they were able to get on the ground.

Why all these chaos happened? According to police the arrangement was poor. The police was informed the turnout would be around 30 to 40 thousands. When it doubled the police force was not there to control the crowd. At the same place the Global Consultants arranged the 'Kannadave Sathya' and 'Sarthaka Suvarna' was held. The arrangement was good for the people to get inside when there was 60000 people for C.Ashwath light music evening held by Global Consultants. This time there were only two close circuits near the stage. The huge turn out lacked the visibility because the cameras were also obstructing their vision. The appearance of dance number Ra Ra…. The spectators started throwing stones. A journalist was hit from stone that was thrown three ladies received minor injuries on their head. Two volunteers were hospitalized, the expensive cars window planes were broken Shivrajkumar, Prem made a humble request to keep quiet. The crowd restlessness continued till 10.15 pm.

However the Jogi Vijayotsava took off at 7 pm. Ambarish Member of Parliament released the pigeons to mark the beginning of the Vijayotsava. There was colorful firework in the air.

Yana Gupta the sensation of this country was a treat for the audience at 9.35 pm. Yana Gupta danced for the same song number Bin Laden Nanna Mava……,Puneeth Rajkumar dancing for Yello Jogappa Ninna Aramane, R.P.Patnayak, Shamitha, Adi Lokesh, Gurukiran assorted songs, Shivrajkumar and Jennifer Kothwal's Chuku buku Railu…., Raghavendra Rajkumar sung the song from Appu Kannada film, beduvanu Varavanu…., song by director Prem thrilled the huge turn out. When the dance and song from the film 'Aptha Mithra' Ra Ra…., the chaos increased. The police advised to leave the place for some of the people.

The program folded up with the mother and son in the film Arundhati Nag and Shivarajkumar (who do not unite in the film) dance on the stage and waving at the audience.

Dr.Rajkumar couple was expected on this evening but they did not turn up.
