Check out the teaser of Zoya Akhtars The Archies

Netflix India recently shared the first teaser of Zoya Akhtar's highly anticipated adaptation of Archie Comics. Titled 'The Archies', film will follows adventures of Archie Andrews and his friends Veronica, Jughead, Betty and Reggie and the teaser featured them having fun and enjoying each other's company while being on a picnic of sorts. The overall mood and aesthetic of the show takes the audience back to 60s.

The film will mark the debut of three star kids; Shahrukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan, Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda and Sridevi's daughter Khushi Kapoor. Apart from them, it'll also star Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina and Yuvraj Menda.

The official synopsis of the project reads, "A musical experience bursting with youth, rebellion, friendships, first loves and everything young adult, still promises to have something for every generation. We can’t wait to see the new kids on the block!”

'The Archies' is set to release in 2023.
