Chennai biotech company GM dies after taking corona virus curing drug!

A 47-year-old general manager of a biotech firm who consumed a drug invented by him to cure Coronavirus died at Teynampet, Chennai. The deceased, Sivanesan, was the general manager of Sujatha Bio-Tech which has developed products like Nivaran 90, Memory Plus etc.

This incident happened at the residence of Dr Raj Kumar, who owns the firm. During the lockdown, Sivanesan obtained permission to visit Chennai and was staying with Dr Raj Kumar to work and develop a cure for Coronavirus and Sivanesan was trying a new formula.

On Thursday, Sivanesan gave the drug containing sodium nitrate to Dr Raj Kumar who had a small portion of the drug and fell unconscious but later wss fine and conscious. Following this, Sivanesan also consumed the drug and fell unconscious but didn't wake up. As he was being rushed to a hospital, Sivanesan died on the way. The Teynampet police have registered a case, saying that the cause of death will be known only after post mortem.
