'Chennai Express' rolls on Egypt screens

After enjoying stupendous success on home turf, Rohit Shetty’s super blockbuster reel vehicle ‘Chennai Express’ recently got released in Egypt.

Reportedly, the Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer has released in 10 screens across two cities namely, Cairo and Alexandria, with Arabic subtitles.

Earlier the film made good impression in France, Germany, Israel, Peru and Morocco. Next in line are other upcoming films - Hrithik Roshan starrer superhero flick ‘Krrish 3’ and YRF’s most awaited venture ‘Dhoom:3’ - which will hit the Egyptian screens.

It can be noted that previously (in 2009) it was SRK’s ‘My Name Is Khan’ that got released here.
