Soundarya gets divorce

Filmmaker and Superstar Rajinikanth's younger daughter Soundarya has been granted divorce from Ashwin, with whom she entered wedlock in the year 2010.

Soundarya formally applied for the divorce in a Chennai based Family court in December 2016. Today the Court has granted the divorce.

The estranged couple have a son named Ved who is with Soundarya.

On the professional front, Soundarya is busy with the post-production of her second directorial venture 'VIP 2', scheduled to hit the screens on July 28, 2017. The film stars Dhanush, Amala Paul and Kajol in lead roles.
