Man drowns and dies when celebrating his first wedding anniversary

One Suresh, who worked in an IT company in Chennai had gone to his native place Endapuli Pudupatti near Periyakulam to celebrate his first wedding anniversary and also the baby shower function of his wife.

On that fateful day Suresh along with his friends had gone to take a bath in the local river and suddenly he was caught in a deep area and cried for help.  However before his friends could swim to him he drowned and died.  Later the fire department had to struggle for three hours to rescue the body.  The entire locality was shocked and grief stricken by the thirty year old's death and the plight of his pregnant wife.
