‘Chikitu’ Song from Rajinikanth’s Coolie Unveiled with a Quirky Twist

The first single from Superstar Rajinikanth and director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s much-awaited gangster drama Coolie is out now. Titled ‘Chikitu’, the song has been released as a fun music video ahead of the film’s grand release on August 14, 2025.

Breaking the usual format, the video features T. Rajendar (actor and father of Simbu) alongside music director Anirudh Ravichander, both mimicking Rajinikanth’s iconic dance moves. A few glimpses of the Superstar himself are also included, teasing fans with his energetic screen presence.

The song stands out with its unique vibe, slightly diverging from Anirudh’s trademark massy style. Lyrics are penned by Arivu, who also lends his vocals along with Anirudh and T. Rajendar.

Produced by Sun Pictures, Coolie also stars Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Upendra, and Soubin Shahir, with a special cameo by Aamir Khan. The musical and visual package of Chikitu has already stirred curiosity—now, all eyes are on how fans embrace it.
