The film industry has been famous for snubbing the outsiders. But of late, a number of people from non-filmy background are making a mark in the industry on the basis of their talent. Aakash Dahiya is one such name. His constant hard work and perseverance of almost five years has paid off with some meaty roles in his kitty.

Debuting with the role of Googly in Nitesh Tewari’s ‘Chillar Party’ and doing few other roles in critically acclaimed films in the interim, Dahiya is set to play an important role in Vidya Balan starrer detective film ‘Bobby Jasoos’.

Dahiya, who considers himself a learner, found a teacher in Vidya Balan. The way she looks at a role is just mind-blowing, he says while talking about Balan. She pays attention to each and every detail. She gets into the skin of the character. All this may have been said a lot of times about her but for me all of it was a learning experience, he remarks.

Besides ‘Bobby Jasoos’, Dahiya will be featuring in Nikhil Advani’s next production venture and in a gangster film being made by Zieshan Qadri.
