Chinmayi raises question about Vairamuthu again

Chinmayi sent shock waves in Tamil cinema and its fans by naming legendary lyricist Vairamuthu as a sexual predator and has ever since been active in championing the Me Too movement on social media. Vairamuthu has recently received the MGR-Sivaji Award for Best Lyricist which has prompted the talented singer to question it.
Chinmayi has stated The MGR Sivaji awards are organised by the PRO stalwarts in the industry whom I actually respect. Of the fantastic work in lyrics that has come out this year (and not just because it was ‘96 ) there were Uma Devi, Karthik Netha... even otherwise there is a long list. But (She has posted a pointer emoji to an image of Vairamuthu receiving the award from Suhashini while Raghava Lawrence looks on).
