Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna and others condole Kaikalas demise

Kaikala Satyanarayana's passing away has saddened his colleagues in the Telugu film industry. Several big names such as Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna paid rich tributes today.

Calling the deceased soul Navarasa Natana Sarvabhouma, Megastar Chiranjeevi put out a long statement expressing his love for him. Revealing a personal anecdote, Chiru said that Kaikala was a lover of both acting and tasty food. "He used to savour the dishes made by my wife, Surekha. It gave me satisfaction to personally visit him at his house on his birthday last year and this year. Like a child, he asked my wife to cook a fish dish for him," the 'Waltair Veerayya' actor added. Chiru's son, Ram Charan, opined that Kaikala's contributions to the film industry will never be forgotten.

Superstar Mahesh Babu wrote that he is extremely saddened by the passing away of Kaikala. "I have some very fond memories of working with him. He will be missed. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. May his soul rest in peace," the 'SVP' star added.

Since Kaikala was a TDP MP, Nandamuri Balakrishna made it a point to refer to his political stint. 'Shyam Singha Roy' actor Nani said that the actor would look like a dear one in films. 'Dhamaka' actor Ravi Teja noted that he is grief-stricken by the demise of the legendary actor.

Tamil actor Sarath Kumar described Kaikala as a legend. "His demise is an irreplaceable loss to the Indian film industry. My heartfelt condolences to his near and dear family and friends and fans across the globe," the actor added.
