It has become a common sight in media to speculate news or two on Megastar Chiranjeevi these days. Having becoming the soft target, Chiranjeevi still maintains the self-respect and never seizes an opportunity to blame media for churning out fabricated stories.

From the last few days, rumours were rife that Chiranjeevi would be ditching the Congress party to join BJP. Further, the gossip mongers went onto say that he even dropped off his plans to star in the much awaited 150th film to take up politics, seriously. A section of media started airing stories that Chiranjeevi will be pitted as the CM candidate for 2019 elections by BJP to appease Kapu community and today Chiru nullified these reports as rumours.

Responding to these rumours, Chiranjeevi said, “There is no truth in me changing the party. I will remain in Congress party." The Megastar also stated that his comeback film, a remake of Tamil film Kaththi, will go onto the floors as per the schedule. The rest of the details about the project will be made official soon, he adds.
