Chiranjeevi, Mohan Babu condole Bappi Lahiri's demise

Veteran composer and singer Bappi Lahiri passed away earlier today. His demise has saddened the Indian film industry.

Megastar Chiranjeevi took to social media and condoled his death. In his condolence message, the 'Acharya' actor described Bappi as a legendary music director and singer. Chiru recalled that Bappi's numerous chartbusters for his movies helped him and his movies gain immense popularity. He will always be remembered for his unique style and his great enthusiasm for life, the 'Bholaa Shankar' actor wrote.

Mohan Babu said that he had the honor of working with Bappi for three super hit movies in which his songs played a crucial role. Had a long association with him. I pray for his family's strength, the 'Son Of India' star wrote.

'Simhasanam' in 1986 was Bappi's first Telugu movie. He went on to score for the movies of Chiranjeevi ('Gang Leader' being the most timeless album), Nandamuri Balakrishna, Mohan Babu, and others. 'Rowdy Gaari Pellam', 'Rowdy Inspector', 'Bigg Boss', 'Nippu Ravva', 'State Rowdy' and others were his other Telugu movies.
