Chitralahari Day 1 share in AP/TS

'Chitralahari', starring Sai Dharam Tej in the lead, earned Rs 3 Cr in the Telugu States on Day 1. This is the distributor share. The film's theatrical rights were sold for Rs 10.50 Cr in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Given that the Kishore Tirumala directorial has the advantage of an okayish "word of mouth" advantage, expect the rom-com to pick up the pace on Saturday and Sunday. Naga Chaitanya-Samantha's 'Majili' is its only competitor at the box-office.

Since the Premiers threw up a good figure in the US, expect the Friday figures (as yet provisional as of now) to be encouraging in the Overseas market.
