Acting powerhouses Chiyaan Vikram and R. Madhavan to finally unite for a new movie?

Chiyaan Vikram and R. Madhavan are two of the most talented star actors who have aged sweetly like fine wine. Both of them have their respective sizeable fan following not only in the Tamil speaking world but across India.

Over the years fans have expressed their desire to see Vikram and Maddy together in a movie and a few producers including Mani Ratnam attempted it but did not materialize. Now the news has come that the veterans may share screen space soon.

According to reliable sources a popular producer is planning to approach Vikram and Madhavan for the remake of the cult classic Malayalam blockbuster 'Ayappanum Koshiyum'. It is said that if the deal falls through Maddy will replace Prithviraj Sukumaran from the original while Chiyaan will play the award winning role played by Biju Menon.

Chiyaan Vikram after the tremendous success of Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan' is currently shooting for Pa. Ranjith's 'Thanagalaan'. Madhavan on the other hand after his award winning directorial debut 'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect' has signed a new movie directed by Y Not Studios Sashikanth in which Nayanthara and Siddharth are his costars.
