The grand audio launch of Chiyaan Vikram’s “Thangalaan” took place in Chennai yesterday, captivating fans with its highlight—a dramatic on-stage faceoff between the film’s leading ladies, Malavika Mohanan and Parvathy Thiruvothu. A video capturing this moment has been creating a sensation online since last night.

Directed by Pa Ranjith, “Thangalaan” is set for a grand release on August 15th. In the film, Parvathy Thiruvothu portrays Vikram’s wife, while Malavika Mohanan takes on the role of a sorceress. Both actresses took to the stage at the event to share their experiences working on this epic project. During the event, the host invited Malavika Mohanan to engage in a Silambam fight with a co-star on stage.

Malavika initially chose Vikram, but he declined. Parvathy Thiruvothu then stepped up, and the two actresses engaged in a spirited Silambam duel, much to the delight of the audience.
