Chiyaan Vikram is currently shooting for the upcoming film, 'Thangalaan', directed by Pa Ranjith. KE Gnanavel Raja is producing this movie under a massive budget in 3D on behalf of his banner Studio Green. Pasupathy, Parvathy, Malavika Mohanan and Harikrishnan are playing pivotal roles.

We already updated you that the story of Thangalaan is based on the lives of the mine workers in KGF, set in the pre-independence era. As per the latest reports, the makers are currently shooting a new schedule at the Kolar Gold Fields (KGF) in Karnataka. The portions involving Vikram, Pasupathy and foreign artists are being shot now.

This schedule will be wrapped up by tomorrow and the next leg of the filming is planned in Chennai. Meanwhile, people crowded the shooting spot after knowing that Chiyaan had come to KGF for the shoot. The Ponniyin Selvan actor addressed the fans and took a selfie video with them on the sets. The video is currently rocking the internet.
