Clash of biggies: Mahesh Babu to lock horns with biggest star

It's going to be a clash of titans on August 11. With 'Spyder' releasing on the same day as 'Vivegam' (Tamil), expect Mahesh Babu and Ajith to fight for Box Office space.

While Mahesh is a superstar in Telugu, Ajith is one in Tamil-land. Although effectively it's not a clash because the home turfs of the two stars are different market segments, it will still be seen as two much-awaited movies being at loggerheads.

For Mahesh, who is yet to have a fan base in Tamil Nadu, it's challenging that 'Spyder' is set to compete with a star who has a huge following in Tamil Nadu.
