Classmates remain the lone winner

Classmates which was released way back in Onam still remains the topper, even after the big releases of Ramzan and Deepavali.
Even in the week of the big star releases, Classmates managed 90 percent collections in all major centres. The film has already grabbed nine crores of gross collections in its first nine weeks.
The film is already set to cross the previous collection record of Rajamaanikyam. Pothen Vava -the latest offering from Lal release and Mammootty is having the better collections from the released lot of the season.
After a good initial which made a crore of gross at first week, the collections fell to 70 percent in the second week.
While Bada Dost which arrived late is going through better times, it also managed a better initial than the other recent releases of the star with 85 percent of first week collections.
