Clean U for Chirutha Puli

All set to release on Nov. 11, Chirutha Puli has been given Clean U certificate by censor board. Producer Kunireddy Srinivas said that the censor board members congratulated the makers on coming out with a realistic movie.

Tamil film legend Sivaji Ganesan's Tamil film Singakutti will be released in Telugu as Chirutha Puli. The film is directed by A Venkatesh. Gowri Manjul, Malavika and Priya are the heroines.

The film has the backdrop of Madurai Meenakshi Temple. To be released with over 100 prints across the State, the film is about a heroic cop who has to choose between his mother and the motherland. Without a hesitation, he chooses the latter in fighting the anti-national terrorists.

The film was to release long back, but it was put on hold owing to some unknown reasons.

It has music by Prasanna Shekhar. Dialogues and lyrics are by Bharathi Babu.

Originally made on a budget of Rs. 20 crores, the film is yet another terrorist flick.

Cherry-Vinayak film launch on Nov. 9

That they are going to team up for a mass entertainer was unofficially let out to the media recently. The official launch of Ram Charan’s film, to be directed by VV Vinayak, it comes out from the the producer of the film DVV Danaiah, is scheduled to take place at the Annapurna Studios on Nov. 9.

Poola Rangadu joins Sankranthi race

Max India wants to make it big the next Sankranthi. Poola Rangadu, being directed by Veerabhadra Chowdary (Aha Na Pelanta, 2010), is fast reaching the stage of post-production and will be wrapped up by December end. The producer and the presenter RR Venkat Movies are planning to release the film on Jan. 14.
