Sanam Shetty began her career as a model before making her acting debut in the Tamil film 'Ambuli' in 2012. She went on to star in a lot more films after that, although she didn't get much attention in Kollywood.

Meanwhile, Sanam lodged a complaint to the Adyar police that she has been continuously receiving dirty and abusive messages from an unknown person on her Whatsapp and Instagram.

Sanam also provided the necessary proof to the police. An investigation was made and the cops have arrested Roy John Paul a 21-year-old college student from Trichy in this regard.

The Adyar police have brought Roy John Paul to Chennai and have handed him over the Cyber Crime department functioning in Thiruvanmiyur where he is now being grilled.
