College Days
After many attempts to weave an independent hit in Mollywood, young star Indrajith is back once again with a new movie `College Days'. Planned as a campus based thriller, Indrajith expects a lot from this movie which features a big gang of youngsters in the narratives.
The movie which tells the consequences of ragging will have the group playing Medical college students. While Indrajith is in the role of a Rohit, who is in the college with more mysterious intentions than being a doctor, the gang played by Sandhya and Dhanya Mary Varghese, Govind Padma Surya, Rain and Sajith Raj appear as the dominant group in the campus who rules the proceedings there. And when they are at their best, some mysterious happenings, including a murder, start to change their lives on to days of fear and a lot of unexpected developments.
Bhama also appear in a cameo in the movie which will also feature Biju Menon, Jagathy, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Venu Nagavalli, Dinesh Panikar, Ambika Mohan, Geetha vijayan and Sobha Mohan in key roles.
Directed by G N Krishnakumar, the music release of the flick was held a couple of weeks ago at the capital city. The movie features some good songs by Rony Raphel, of which a couple including "Vennilaavin" are already in the top of the charts.
Produced by Anoop under the banner of Chandra Kantham Films, majority of the movie was shot on locations at Thiruvananthapuram and at Azeezia medical college. While Sujith Vasudev is in charge of the camera, Mahesh Narayanan handles the editing.
`College Days' is all set to reach the theatres by the end of this month. The movie will be brought to theatres by Seven Arts.
