Veteran comedy actor passes away - Vishal pays tribute in person

Veteran comedy actor Jayachandran passed away this morning after he sustained head injuries from a fall in the bathroom. He was 66 and is survived by his wife Lakshmi and two children. Actors Vishal and Ponvannan representing the Nadigar Sangam paid homage in person and his the last rites were completed today.

Jayachandran came to Chennai from Udumalapet several years back to follow his dream of acting in movies. Though he has appeared in a number of films he is best remembered for his combo with Vadivelu in Suriya's 'Aaru' directed by Hari.
