Comedy showing Jesus as gay to be axed by Netflix

Recently, a comedy titled 'The First Temptation of Christ' started streaming on Netflix. It projects Jesus Christ as a gay and has been deemed blasphemous for this reason. Millions of Christians around the world have been opposed to the entertainer.

Following a petition filed by devout Christians, a Brazilian court has ordered Netflix to remove the "offensive" series. A Rio-based film company named Porta dos Fundos and Netflix have decided to take it off.

The film company's headquarters in Rio was bombed on Christmas Eve recently. Meanwhile, over the last few weeks, at least two million people have signed a petition calling for the series to be purged out.
