Popular filmmaker Vipul Amrutlal Shah is planning to to adapt his popular film franchise 'Commando' into a web show for Disney+ Hotstar. Starring Vidyut Jammwal in the lead, 'Commando' is one of the best action franchises of Bollywood but for its OTT version, Vipul wants to cast a new and unknown star in the lead. Keeping this in mind, his team had invited aspiring actors throughout the country who are trained in martial arts to audition for this project.

It has turned out that makers have recieved an enormous amount of audition clips and because of that, they have decided to delay their decision of choosing the best one out of them. The official Twitter account of Sunshine Pictures recently wrote, "It's amazing to receive such an overwhelming response from all of you with brilliantly skillful audition clips for COMMANDO OTT."

They further added, "But the number of auditions we have received are way more than expected and we do not want to miss out on any single audition so the results revealing date has been pushed to 15th August instead of 10th August. Thank you and good luck! ♥️"

Vipul Amrutlal Shah believes that OTT adaptation of 'Commando' will be a new and fresh take on the already popular franchise and its lead actor will get an amazing platform to kickstart his career.
