‘Committee Kurrollu’ Continues Its Winning Streak with SIIMA 2025 Honours

Under the banners of Pink Elephant Pictures and Sri Radha Damodar Studios, producers Padmaja Konidela and Jayalakshmi Adapaka presented Committee Kurrollu, a film that has been creating ripples ever since its release. After becoming a blockbuster at the box office, the film has continued its victorious journey by winning accolades at both state and national levels.

At the Gaddar Awards announced by the Telangana Government, Committee Kurrollu was recognized as the Best Feature Film for showcasing themes of national integration, communal harmony, and social upliftment of the underprivileged. Director Yadhu Vamsi bagged the Best Debut Director Award. Later, at the GAMA Awards, Niharika Konidela was honored with the Best Debut Producer Award, while Yadhu Vamsi once again secured the Best Debut Director Award.

Now, adding another feather to its cap, Committee Kurrollu has triumphed at the SIIMA Awards 2025. Niharika Konidela was named Best Debut Producer, and Sandeep Saroj won the Best Debut Actor Award, bringing further recognition to the film.

Made on a budget of Rs.9 Crores, the film proved to be a commercial success with a theatrical collection of Rs.18.5 Crores and non-theatrical revenue of Rs.6 Crores, taking its total earnings to an impressive Rs.24.5 Crores.

With her very first feature film as a producer, Niharika Konidela has created history in Tollywood, earning applause not just as an actress but also as a path-breaking producer. Directed by Yadhu Vamsi, with cinematography by Edururoru Raju and music by Anudeep Dev, the film’s production operations were efficiently managed by Manyam Ramesh.

Released on August 9, 2024, Committee Kurrollu has firmly established itself as a blockbuster hit, continuing to shine on every platform it touches.
