'Aaj nahi to kal yeh to hona hi tha'

The way 'Don - The Chase Begins Again' and 'Jaan-E-Mann' were being promoted for last 3-4 weeks, it was quite obvious that J.P. Dutta's 'Umrao Jaan' had no other option but to get pushed for a later date. After all both the aforementioned films have plans to come up with 500+ prints in India alone which leaves little breathing space for other flicks to arrive.

While Dutta denied any plans of moving the film ahead till a few days back, it has now been confirmed that it would be releasing on November 3rd. Though in a way it is good that the film avoided the clash, one also needs to observe that just 3 weeks down the line i.e. on November 24th comes 'Dhoom 2' which is already the hottest film in the trade circles for the remainder of the year.

Also, one may count Sooraj Barjatya's 'Vivah' and Subhash Ghai's 'Apna Sapna Money Money' as decent competition when they arrive on November 10th.

The game is not yet over in Bollywood this winter!
