Rahul Gandhi contracts coronavirus

Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday said that his covid status is currently positive. He revealed that he is experiencing mild symptoms. So, he went for a test. The result came back positive.
All those who have been in contact with me recently, please follow all safety protocols and stay safe, Rahul added.
Reacting to the news, former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah wrote, Very sad & concerned to know that Shri. @RahulGandhi has been tested positive for #Covid19. I wish him speedy recovery & a healthy return. Former actress and state Congress leader Nagma wrote, Oh god no !! Pls recover soon what’s happening in Delhi!!!
He is the third major political leader in the country to test positive in the past 24 hours. Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao tested positive on Monday evening.
