Conversations are totally unscripted and organic, Karan Johar on 'Koffee With Karan'

The seventh season of popular talk show 'Koffee With Karan' has now started streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. Hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar, the show has given rise to multiple controversies over the years but since it gives celebs a platform to be candid about their lives, it still enjoys a dedicated fanbase.
During a recent media interaction, Karan Johar revealed that every conversation that takes place on his show is totally unscripted and organic. He told NDTV, I never discuss any questions with anyone. Very rarely, someone will come and say, ‘Don’t ask about this, and don’t ask about that’. And I respect that, and I don’t. Everything is impromptu, nothing is by design.
Karan further added, If you come and watch the show live, it’s really like how it’s seen. We take breaks only for touch-ups in between for a minute, and we continue. Nothing is strategic, nothing is overshot, nothing is repeated, there’s no two takes given for anything. It’s very, very organic.”
