Actor Jay Benedict, who has acted in numerous Hollywood flicks including Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises has passed away after battling the coronavirus.
The sad news was conveyed by his management team via social media, with the tweet It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear client Jay Benedict, who this afternoon lost his battle with COVID-19. Our thoughts are with his family.
The 68 year old Jay Benedict had also acted in the superhit sci-fi flick Aliens and the most popular and long-running UK series Emmerdale.
