We've got to agree that the reality we knew a month back has completely changed. Staying indoors has become the norm. But we say, you can get past these testing (and sometimes boring) times with some good entertainment. Work from home or not, here’s a list of some good movies to keep you occupied!

It's time to put on your masks, sanitise your hands and pick your favourite from the list!

Contagion

Directed by Steven Soderbergh, 'Contagion' will leave you wondering if the director was prophetic about the current scenario we are facing. The movie soars along the drama of the world trying to stop a virus outbreak. A perfect (albeit terrifying watch) for your quarantine days!

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

This is a different kind of Spider-Man. It’s about a how a teenager has to shoulder the great responsibility of being Spider-Man. Not to mention the story incorporates some mind-bending multiverse plots and the cheeky humour of the bug heroes throughout!

Misery

If you had read enough Stephen King novels, you know what we’re talking about. Based on his book with the same title, this is a nightmare-come true for any person. Here’s the story: it's about a fangirl gone wild who house arrests a writer to change… HEY! Why don’t you watch it yourself and let us know what you think!

The Silence of the Lambs

Have you ever been in a position where you had to get the help of a psychopathic serial killer so you could catch hold of another serial killer on the prowl? Clarice Starling, the protagonist of the movie is in a similar position and watch this famed movie to get the chills for real!

Ex Machina

The film got an Academy Award for the Best Visual Effects. Shouldn't that be alone the reason for you watch it? Yes, and apart from that it’s got a very gripping narrative about a young programmer who’s given the chance to assess the AI of a female robot. Just watch it.

The End of the Tour

What does it take to unravel the mind of an eccentric genius? That too a mind like David Foster Wallace? Starring Jaso Segel and Jesse Eisenberg, this is a bittersweet tale of how two writers coming to a criss-cross in their lives.

Roma

Alfonso Cuaron has always been a master at work. Set in 1970, this auto-biographical approach on the director's upbringing in Mexican neighbourhood is a must watch for movie buffs. Interesting trivia: Alfonso not only directed it, but also produced, shot and co-edited as well!

Goodfellas

If you have watched Martin Scorsese's 'The Irishman', kudos to you. But here's 'Goodfellas', an American 1990 crime film by the same director which will show you why Scorsese is so damn good when it comes to movies that deals with crime. What we’re trying to say is: It's a good time to be watching 'Goodfellas'!

Her

'Her' is not so much about science fiction as it is about how a man is dealing with his loneliness. The romantic drama was written and directed by Spike Jonze and was critically acclaimed and appreciated by the movie fraternity across the globe. It's sweet, smart movie with so much of soul that you shouldn't miss it.

Spirited Away

Some say that 'Spirited Away' is the best animated movie ever made. What makes the movie click is the spiritual and the emotional message that is woven into the narrative. The film was written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki and turned out to be one of the highest grossing Japanese movies in the world.
