Brazil president Bolsonaro tests corona positive!

Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro had made a shocking announcement yesterday, revealing that he has tested positive for the novel coronavirus, adding that he was in good health despite having a fever.

The right-wing populist, who has been constantly playing down the severity of the virus, calling it a little flu revealed that he took the test on Monday following several symptoms.

In an interview which was broadcast on TV Brasil, Bolsonaro said he fell sick on Sunday and started taking hydroxychloroquine, an anti-malarial drug to counter COVID-19. Bolsonaro has often violated the Coronavirus guidelines of wearing a mask in public, even after being ordered by a judge to do so.
