In an unexpected turn of events, top young Bollywood hero Varun Dhawan who had been shooting for his movie Jug Jugg Jeeyo has made an official announcement that he has tested positive for Coronavirus.

Taking to Instagram, Varun Dhawan posted "So as I returned to work in the pandemic era I have contracted covid-19. All precautions were taken by the production but still nothing is certain in life especially not covid-19. So please be extra careful I believe I could have been more careful. I see the get well soon messages and my spirits are high taking each day at a time. Thank you."

Jug Jugg Jeeyo is directed by Raj Mehta and also stars Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, and is produced by Karan Johar. The whole team had underwent corona test before the shooting.
