COVID 19 Update - A day of massive number of recoveries exceeding positive cases in Tamil Nadu today!

The coronavirus updates for today in Tamil Nadu witnessed yet another day of more than 5000 cases with 5879 new cases taking up the total number of patients to 2,51,738 so far. The death toll has risen to 4034 with 99 new deaths in the past twenty-four hours.

With 1074 new cases Chennai has maintained its average of the past ten days and has a total of 1,00,877 cases. Among the other districts data Kancheepuram, Chengalpattu and Thiruvallur have recorded more than 300 cases.

On the positive side 60,580 samples were tested today taking up the total of tests to 27,18,718. Tamil Nadu has recorded a total of 7010 patients have been discharged today taking up the tally of recoveries to 1,90,966.
