Arvind Swamy had gone to court to get his pending salary of one crore seventy nine lakhs from producer Manobala for the film 'Sathuranga Vettai 2'. Repying ot the high court Manobala had stated that he would pay the amount in installments and the first due of 25lakhs would be paid on October 10th. He also assured that he will not release the film without the knowledge of the court.

Accepting Manobala's reply the judge has asked both the parties to meet at the court premises on October 12th and work out a compromise plan. 'Sathuranga Vettai 2' written by H. Vinod and directed by N.V. Nirmalkumar has Arvind Swamy and Trisha as the lead pair while Nasser, Radha Ravi, Prakash Raj, Daniel Balaji and Yogi Babu.
