Courts decision on Amala Pauls case against businessman

Amala Paul had gone for a dance rehearsal at choreographer Sridhar's studio in West Mambalam in Chennai when one Azhagesan allegedly approached her for sexual favours and the actress not only reprimanded him but also lodged a police complaint. Azhagesan admitted to the police that he made the advance on behalf of one Bhaskaran of Kottivakkam and both men were arrested.

The incident happened on January 31st 2018 and Bhaskaran had approached the court to stay investigations against him claiming innocence. The case came up for hearing today and the Chennai High Court has granted an interim stay in favor of Bhaskaran.
