Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the two Telugu States, are showing improvement towards reducing the rate of increase in Covid-19 cases, says Prof. Shamika Ravi, presenting detailed graphs. In the same league are Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Karnakata.

In the Alarming category is Maharashtra, which is contributing 33% of India cases, with the recovery rate dwarfed by active cases. "In the rising cases, rising recovery" category are Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat.

In her study, Prof. Shamika Ravi says that the infection spreading rate in the east is witnessed in Odisha, Bihar, Chattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Tripura. Kerala is in the Good category, better than the league of the Telugu States.
