COVID-19: India crosses 4000 cases

With an increase of 490 COVID-19 cases since last night, the number of positive cases in India has crossed the 4000 mark. To be precise, it is at 4067. This number includes 3666 active cases, 292 cured/discharged/migrated people and 109 deaths, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare today said.

A total of 109 deaths due to the COVID-19 outbreak have been registered in the country.

As many as 32 new deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours.

Andhra Pradesh has seen a spike since Sunday afternoon, with Kurnool's 56 topping the chart. In total, the State has got 266 cases.

Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Kerala and Telangana are the worst-affected in India.
