This country becomes first in world to approve Covid vaccine for use!

In a huge breakthrough in the field of medicine and the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, the UK has become the first country in the world to approve the usage of Pfizer/BioNTech coronavirus vaccine.

British regulator MHRA has announced that the vaccine gives 95% protection against Coronavirus infection and will be rolled out from next week. Vaccination is expected to begin soon for people in high priority groups.

The United Kingdom has ordered 40 million doses which can vaccinate 20 million people, with two shots each. 10 million doses will be available soon, and the first 800,000 doses will reach the UK in few days. 50 hospitals are on standby and vaccination centres are being set up in the country.
