As reported earlier, actor Prithviraj and his 'Aadujeevitham' movie team comprising of 58 people were filming the movie's second schedule in Jordan's Wadi Rum when the Coronavirus attacked the world and all means of transportation including international flights came to a standstill. In a recent Facebook post, Prithvi had revealed that the team was safe and that they would continue to shoot in Wadi Rum, as it is an isolated area.

While the Jordan government had granted permission to the team shoot there till April 10, the latest is that the filming has been suspended after the same government insisted the team to pack-up due to the COVID-19 threat. Due to the food shortage and the growing threat of the team getting infected, director Blessy has sought the help of authorities in Kerala to return to India. Blessy emailed to the Kerala Film Chamber, seeking help to take up the case with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Actor Prithviraj had also taken to his social media pages to update his fans about the situation.

Earlier Kerala Chief Minister had directed the Non-Resident Keralites Affairs (NORKA) Principal Secretary to notify the Indian embassy at Jordan about the situation. The embassy had assured to assist the team and even contacted the filmmakers and enquired about the well being of the crew. However, things changed after there's a rising number of coronavirus cases across the globe.
