Indian cricketer-turned-actor Sreesanth has signed a new movie in Marathi. Titled 'Mumbaicha Vada Pav', the film will be directed by two Malayali filmmakers PK Asokan and Meharali Poilungal Ismail.

Touted to be based on a novel concept not seen in Marathi films before, the movie will feature some prominent Marathi actors from both Malayalam and Marathi cinema industry. In a statement, Sreesanth has said that it’s the best role given to him so far. 'Mumbaicha Vada Pav' marks to be the actor's Marathi debut. The movie will also have some most accomplished technicians working on it.

If all goes well, the film will go on floors in the first week of April 2020 in Maharashtra. The movie is said to be primarily shot in Pune and Nashik. More details are expected to be revealed soon.
