Put into bat first, SRH lost Bairstow in the second over itself, As Dhoni and Harbhajan came together to dismiss the Englishman for a duck, As Johnny played down the wrong line and when on to get an edge off a quicker one in his last match of the season.

Manish Pandey was promoted to Number 3 by SRH and he responded superbly by attacking the CSK bowlers and stitching a 115 run stand with Warner in the next 12 overs.

When Warner got out for 57(45) 3x4 2x6, He ensured that he had already become the third player after Sehwag and Jos Butler to register 5 consecutive scores of 50 or more. A tierd shot ensured a stumping off Harbhajan's bowling, That confirmed the exit of Warner.

A 47 run partnership between Vijay Shankar and Manish Pandey ended in the last ball of the 19th over, As Chahar picked up Shankar's wicket by inducing a wrongly timed shot, That was ultimately caught by Jadeja in the deep.

Although there were just 3 wickets taken by CSK, Just 41 runs between overs 15 and 20.
It was Manish Pandey's 83*(49) with 7 fours and 3 sixes, was a complete standout.

Chasing 176, CSK actually started the innings with a maiden over. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar's start was perfect for SRH.

Khaleel's oversaw just 2 runs. The 3rd oversaw the exit of faf, Via a direct hit by Hooda for just 1(7).

Then, A blistering cameo by Raina 38(24) 6x4 1x6, Including four fours of Sandeep Sharma's over, Provided a much-needed boost to the score as well as solid assistance to Shane Watson. Their partnership stood for 77 runs in 7.3 overs. Raina got out stumped by Bairstow off Rashid's bowling,In a failed attempt to work the ball on to the on the side by reaching for the ball.

CSK were 80-2 at the end of 10 overs.

The next five overs had 70 runs in the bag in a partnership which was dominated by Watson wherein Rayudu played a clear second fiddle.

In the first ball of the 18th over, When the score was 160-3, Shane Watson, unfortunately, got out to a fully stretched tumbling catch down the leg side. An attempted pull and a top edge put an end to Watson's breathtaking innings of 96 off 53 balls with 9 fours and 6 sixes.

At that time, CSK needed 16 runs from the remaining 17 balls.

Yet, As the 18th over by Bhuvaneshwar and then the 19th over by Khaleel, Went for just 3 and four runs respectively, There came a situation that said 9 runs were needed off the final over.

Rayudu took a single off the first ball! Jadhav cleared the ropes in the second ball which got him six runs beyond a valiant attempt by Manish Pandey to save the six in the deep. Jadhav took a single off the next ball.
Rayudu though, In an attempt to finish the game on a high note, got out to a miscued pull as Vijay Shankar took a dolly at mid off.

Jadhav bit the winning run by driving a full ball straight back down the ground and it got crashed into the stumps at the other end off Bravo's foot. As Sandeep Sharma couldn't get a hand to it, The batsmen ran through and completed a single.

CSK thereby won the match by the sixth wicket and registered its 5th home win in as many matches.
