After two back to back away defeats, One thumping and one thrilling, CSK gets back to Chepauk for the reverse fixture versus SRH.

Super Kings couldn't have asked for a better time to return home: they have three matches on the trot at Chepauk, where they have won four out of four so far. They have also welcomed back Dwayne Bravo from a hamstring injury, but there are still concerns over his death bowling. Super Kings will be more worried about their top order - both Shane Watson and Suresh Raina are still searching for form ten matches into the season.
A shaky top order and inconsistent middle and lower order of CSK has put the whole pressure on captain Dhoni, Yet captain cool has stood tall thus far with 314 runs in 7 innings he got to bat, including the most recent 84 Vs RCB at Bangalore which eventually became his personal high score.

David Warner and Johnny Bairstow happen to be the top two run-getters of the league and also the catalysts of sunrisers Hyderabad’s batting glory. They both have contributed 71% of the 1349 runs Sunrisers have scored in IPL 2019.

Johnny would leave for England to join the world cup preparation camp after this game. Martin Guptill could replace JB in the remaining games.
Left-arm quick Khaleel Ahmed, who has hit hard lengths in the Powerplay and executed the slower off-cutters well at the death, has lent another dimension to the already versatile attack. Then, there's Ambati Rayudu v Vijay Shankar Round 2 to look forward
Historically a highly potent bowling unit SRH, Are still displaying their skills (Especially in the previous two matches wherein bowlers were adjudicated as the players of those matches)

Had CSK won the cliffhanger against RCB, They would have been officially in the playoffs by now. Yet, With reference to the current scenario, One win in the remaining four matches is a must.

On the other side, SRH must win most of their remaining matches (5), With a higher NRR to avoid any last minute complications It's up to the middle and lower order of SRH and the top order of CSK, To decide the fate and flavor of the match

Harbhajan Singh was unavailable for Super Kings' last four games - all away from home - because of a stiff neck. If he's fit, he should slot into the XI at Chepauk..

Here was a light drizzle in Chennai on the eve of the game, and both Super Kings and Sunrisers did not train, having been in action on Sunday.
