D-16′ release date is official

'D-16', the dubbed version of Tamil thriller 'Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru', will hit the screens on March 10, clashing with 'Nagaram' and 'Chitrangada', among others. The new-age, slick entertainer stars Rahman in the lead role.

Written and directed by 22-year-old Karthick Naren, Rahman in this film is playing Inspector Deepak, who is embroiled in a series of murders that could have a psychopath, a sadist or a mere murderer behind them.

The slick frames, the night effect, the trendy BGM – all of these could just make it a worthy entertainer.  The Tamil version was a big hit.
