Dammu collected Rs. 31 cr. in first week: KS Rama Rao

NTR was a bit worried when Dammu generated a so-called 'divide talk' on the first day. That was last Friday. By the sixth day, the film collected Rs. 31 cr. (Rs. 24 cr. share in Andhra Pradesh), standing testimony to the film's dammu, to quote the makers, who are in a celebratory mood now. Speaking at the success meet of the film, KS Rama Rao said that the figures speak for themselves.

Dil Raju bought the distribution rights for Nizam territory even before the film went on floors. He is now happy that Dammu has been a bigger hit than Brindavanam.
